These terms govern use of WeDu.ca and participation in the WeDu.ca Tamil Business Directory. By using the site, creating an account, or submitting a listing, you agree to these terms.
Directory listings
You must be authorized to act for any business you submit or claim, and the information you provide must be accurate, lawful, and not misleading. Standard business registration is free. Featured placement is optional and will not be added without approval. Submission does not guarantee publication, ranking, or continued availability. Listings remain pending until WeDu completes its verification and review process.
WeDu may correct formatting, request evidence, reject, suspend, or remove listings that cannot be verified, violate these terms, infringe rights, create security risks, or mislead users. Business owners remain responsible for the accuracy of their offers, licences, services, prices, and representations.
No endorsement
A listing does not constitute WeDu’s endorsement, certification, or guarantee. Users should independently evaluate a business before purchasing goods or services. To the extent permitted by law, WeDu is not responsible for transactions or disputes between directory users and listed businesses.
Accounts and acceptable use
Keep account credentials secure and promptly report suspected unauthorized access. Do not scrape the site, send malware, interfere with operation, impersonate another person or business, submit unlawful content, or use directory information for spam or harassment.
SMS program terms
Program name: WeDu Business Listing Updates.
If you separately check the optional SMS consent box, you agree to receive recurring automated text messages from WeDu.ca about your business listing, verification, account support, and optional directory services at the mobile number you provide. Consent is not a condition of a free listing or purchase. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
You may opt out at any time by replying STOP. After an opt-out request, we may send one confirmation and then stop SMS messages unless you opt in again. Reply HELP for help, email register@wedu.ca, or write to the address below. Do not provide a number you do not control or have authority to enroll. Delivery depends on carrier and device availability.
WeDu records opt-in and opt-out evidence. SMS consent and mobile information are not sold or shared with third parties or affiliates for their own marketing. Our handling of information is described in the Privacy Policy.
Email communications
Where permitted, WeDu may send service or business-directory emails. Marketing emails identify WeDu and provide a working unsubscribe method. Service messages needed to administer an account or respond to a request may still be sent where permitted.
Intellectual property and submitted content
You retain ownership of content you submit. You grant WeDu a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, reproduce, resize, format, and display that content for operating and promoting the directory. You represent that you have the rights required to grant this licence.
Availability and limitation
The service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. WeDu does not promise uninterrupted operation or error-free information. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded. Otherwise, to the extent permitted by law, WeDu is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential losses arising from use of the site.
Changes and termination
We may update these terms by posting a revised version and effective date. You may stop using the service at any time and may request eligible account or listing removal. We may suspend access for violations or risks to WeDu, businesses, or users.
